Situated at the foot of the Old Man of Coniston, the Village offers a variety of activities for all ages and abilities, and is a great location to explore the Lake District. There are many places to eat and drink, all within a few minutes walk from the Cottage.

We have acquired the Industry Standard “Good To Go” mark which means that we have followed government & industry COVID-19 guidelines, we have a Risk Assessment in place, we have a process to maintain cleanliness and we supply disinfectant products to ensure that our guests are as safe as possible during their holiday. Please download our terms and conditions on the Availability page for more details about our new cleaning schedule. As well as the changes we have made, we are asking all our guests to help keep our wonderful cleaner safe during this pandemic by placing the bedding and towels in the laundry bag supplied, and moving all rubbish to the external bin at the rear of the cottage at the end of the week.
